The free practices that opened the Gran Premio Generali de la Comunitat Valenciana have been marked by the continuous showers that conditioned negatively the job of the world championship riders.

The Thai Ratthapark Wilairot received the official approval to participate at the first free practices of the GP, so at the FP1 Feem could check his condition on the bike after riding 7 laps at the track of Cheste. The Thai Honda Singha SAG rider and the team decided not to hit the track at the FP2 because supposed take unnecessary risks to practice under not favorable weather conditions and where no valuable data could be registered for the rest of the days of the event.

39.RATTHAPARK WILAIROT (THAI HONDA SINGHA SAG // FTR), 1’58.798:

“I am very happy to come back on the bike although I am not in my full conditions. I missed the team after two races without racing and the reunion was nice. The true is that the expectations I had of my first contact on the FTR with the injured left knee was much worse than I actually had; the weather conditions didn’t help to check the real potential that I have on the track and that delayed the work looking forward Sunday’s race. In the morning I did just 7 laps and at the afternoon we decided not to practice because we couldn’t get anything clear and in addition take unnecessary risks. Tomorrow the weather, as I see at the forecasts, give us a truce so I hope to ride on dry conditions and see my real level.”
