Today the 2011 season finished and Ratthapark Wilairot concludes his particular year applauded by his people.

The Thai Honda Singha SAG rider predicted a premature end of race as soon as he finished the WarmUP, after feeling a big pain on his left knee again. Anyway, Wilairot preferred not to compete infiltrated because he ensured that would be worse for the conditions of his ligaments, which could have been damaged more having the option of forcing them without feeling the pain. When Feem had finished 13 laps, he took the way to the pits because the pain didn’t allow him to control his FTR and he started to be a risk for him and his rivals.

With this Wilairot ends a hard season, from which he extracts very good results and a great experience with which to face the 2012 season.

RATTHAPARK WILAIROT (THAI HONDA SINGHA SAG // FTR), retired:

“Today I tried to make everything possible to finish the race but it was impossible. The knee made the things difficult for me until the end and when I saw that I could not control the bike any more, I preferred to prevent accidents and retire. I started this season with a lot of complications, later on it looks that the bad luck followed me until the end. Anyway I’m concerned about this and I want to remark the positive facts. The team worked at 100% for the entire year, even with the results achieved that have not been very motivating. Also I learnt a lot and I increased my experience on the Moto2 bikes, with this I will face a 2012 season with a big base thanks to the 2011.”
