A week after the test post GP celebrated in Valencia, Ratthapark Wilairot comes back on a Moto2 to prove himself and get feelings on the FTR 2012, everything during a journey where the weather helped the world championship riders that attended this date.
Wilairot has two different conclusions at the end of the day. The FTR 2012 is a good bike and the confidence that he has with it is higher than with the 2011 model. At the same time, the Thai Honda Singha SAG keeps with upsets in his left knee, injury caused at the FP1 of Australia, and ensures that his level is not at the 100% so he ensures that after the full recovery he can show a high perform on the new bike. The best result of Ratthapark, after having done 55 laps, was 1’38.2, 2 seconds faster that the achieved the last GP in Valencia. RATTHAPARK WILAIROT (THAI HONDA SINGHA SAG), 1’38.2:“Today we had a good day of test. This practice have been useful for me to evaluate my physic conditions and I can say that I am having a quick recovery, although for sure I need one month more to be fully fit. Comparing the FTR from the last year with the new one I felt big differences, because I managed to adapt it better to my riding style and also allows me to turn easily. This is a step forward looking to the next year, the only thing I can’t take out from my head is that I want to be at 100% on the bike, with this I will practice a lot to score times of top 10 again.” |
